Our Relationship with Shipping Carriers
ParcelPulse is an independent package tracking service. We are not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with any shipping carrier, postal service, or logistics company.
At ParcelPulse, we believe in transparency. This page explains our relationship with the various shipping carriers whose tracking information we display and how we obtain and use this data.
Independent Tracking Aggregator
ParcelPulse operates as an independent tracking aggregator service. We collect tracking information from multiple carriers and present it in a unified, user-friendly interface. This allows you to track packages from different carriers in one place, without having to visit multiple websites or download multiple apps.
Our independence means we can provide unbiased information and features that prioritize the end user's experience rather than any particular carrier's interests. We don't favor one carrier over another in our tracking displays or recommendations.
How We Access Tracking Data
We access tracking information through several methods:
- Public APIs: Many carriers provide public Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that allow services like ours to retrieve tracking information programmatically. We use these official APIs whenever available.
- Carrier Websites: For carriers that don't offer public APIs, we may retrieve tracking information from their public-facing websites, similar to how you would check tracking information yourself.
- Data Partnerships: In some cases, we establish data sharing agreements with logistics data providers who aggregate carrier information. These partnerships help us provide more comprehensive tracking coverage.
In all cases, we only access publicly available tracking information that any recipient would be able to see with the tracking number. We do not have special access to carriers' internal systems or privileged information.
No Official Partnerships with Carriers
ParcelPulse does not have official partnerships, sponsorships, or affiliations with any of the shipping carriers whose information we display. We are not authorized agents or representatives of these carriers.
This means:
- We cannot influence delivery times or methods
- We cannot file claims on your behalf
- We cannot contact carriers' internal customer service for you
- We do not receive commissions or referral fees from carriers
- We do not prioritize or favor any carrier in our system
